Peer Reflection Circles

Small, student-led conversations where you can pause, reflect, listen, and share experiences with others navigating university life.

About Peer Reflection Circles

Peer Reflection Circles are small student-led conversations where participants pause, reflect, listen and share experiences about university life in a supportive environment.

  • Small groups of 6–8 students
  • Facilitated conversations
  • 60-minute sessions
  • Voluntary participation
  • Non-clinical reflective space

Expressing interest does not guarantee placement in a circle. The Nyumba Yetu team reviews interest submissions and will contact students when new circles are scheduled.

What the Circle Experience Feels Like

Peer Reflection Circles are designed to feel calm, respectful and human. They are not lectures, and they are not therapy. They are guided spaces where students can think honestly, listen deeply and feel less alone.

🪑

A Small Circle

Each circle is intentionally small so students can speak, listen and reflect in a space that feels personal rather than crowded.

💬

Honest Conversation

The conversations focus on what students are carrying beneath the surface: pressure, identity, belonging, expectations and coping.

🌱

Shared Perspective

Students often realize they are not the only ones carrying invisible struggles. That shared recognition is part of the healing.
